Concerto Competition 2023

The Sierra Vista Symphony is proud to announce that Garrett Parnaby, a junior at Buena High School, is the winner of the 2023 Concerto Competition. Garrett played his trombone accompanied by piano and has been given the opportunity to play 3 concerts with the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra in January of 2024. Congratulations! Your win was very well deserved and we look forward to hearing you at the Winter Concert.

The other competitors were Chase Deleon on trumpet, Kyle Asato on piano, and Andrew Brame on violin. The accompanists were Billie Hayes and Sue Sorensen.

The judges were Roger Bayes and Toru Tagawa.
